The platform has been in production for over 6 years and is is processing 5 million updates per second with latencies under half a millisecond. As an example BBR Trading has built a system where they look at the process queue length, and the load on their machine and if the expected time to process the queue of work items exceeds their tolerances then the Cerrio platform automatically provisions AWS instances to speed up the processing time.
